  1. BACKGROUND:
  • CMC Ltd. and Customs conducted first User Acceptance Test (UAT) session from 25 – 29 August 2014 on Customs Module.
  • Sub-modules developed by CMC Ltd. for UAT session confined to IMPORT only considering basic import procedures with limited features. It did not cover any policy and complex issues of Customs. Further, other sub-modules like Export, Excise, MIS etc. were not developed.
  • Findings of the UAT session observed that about 10% of the overall Customs requirements tested based on compiled test cases was covered at the time. Since then no further development of Customs and Excise modules have been initiated.
